The Asian Venture Philanthropy Network (AVPN), an organization that helps Social Purpose Organizations (SPOs) match up with impact funders, held their 2017 conference in Bangkok. I helped out a bit and was able to record a few interviews among all the hubbub. My first of those was with Mélanie Perissé from Project Alba, an SPO that works to improve the lives of farmers in Cambodia via contract farming arrangements. In the interview, Mélanie explains the model employed by Project Alba, and how it benefits the farmers they work with, as well as the fundraising effort she’s currently working on.
